These three grapes – Grenache, Shiraz & Mourvedre – make such a happy threesome, they’ve even got their own acronym. This particular GSM from South Australia is a joy with juicy, mellow bramble fruit flavours and a gentle kick of spice. Best imbibed on a sofa, blanket over knees, fire lit.

Oh no, really? Shame!
Someone gave me a bottle of Number 9 Blend GSM South Australia 2017 some years ago, and I’ve only just got round to it. A lovely wine, just read the above comment. What a pity, I’d loved to have got hold of some more, a really decent wine.
