Gotta love the Languedoc. It’s stuffed with great value wines with – thanks to abundant sun – buckets of ripe fruit flavours. There’s also something refreshingly unstuffy about them. This one’s made from a blend of local grapes including Vermentino, Marsanne and Grenache, generously loaded with waxy lemon and peach flavours. A bright, happy wine that’s brilliant with roast chicken.

Saw this on Saturday kitchen last week so nipped into the local JS, and as a Tesco lifer bought up on your wines, JS has a far better breadth of offer these days
