So, things are bonkers but – thank goodness – we have wine. Supermarket shelves might be looking a little depleted in places but there are plenty of brilliant independent wine merchants still delivering (check out this list if you’re looking for one).
Sometimes my life seems like one long list of stuff to do. So for the next 10 days, I’m going to live by a To Don’t list.
What a week it’s been: long, cold and the guy who was in Home Alone 2 briefly is to be President (I’m watching as I type).
So, in the words of Barry Manilow, looks like we made it. Our family half-term trip to Scotland, returning via Alnwick Castle and Ironbridge, that is.
I realise that for Red Nose Day I could a) shave all my hair off or b) do a sponsored bike ride or even c) climb a mountain but there are already people I know doing exactly that.
